So last summer I was discharged from the court of Protection and last October my account bank and affairs where closed that my deputy had control over with a bill for about 3k for work that they had done up to the point of discharge (my deputy is a solicitor hence the amount that I had to pay for work done that year so far) so I settled up and got myself sorted with being able to look after my own affairs any last week I get a letter from the accountant that handle my moneys when I was under the court of Protection (same firm as the solicitor/ deputy) billing me for work done back last match before I was recharged from the court of Protection so I emailed them asking why this was not settled before I left the court of Protection would make since to have all the issues cleared up before the deputy account was closed they replayed but did not really reply to my issue and just said it needs to be paid and if I could do so as soon as possible and here’s another thing the person I got the letter off is away till the 11th which sucks

Court of Protection costs are a fixed amount, although if a solicitor is doing the work and the matters involved have required more work than normal they can seek to be paid an additional amount.
I'm not sure when these costs would be paid, I'd speak to the Cort of Protection about this matter.
