Is it okay to travel by air after 10 months of decompressive craniectomy without cranioplasty? 3 hours of air travel....

Not sure anyone here is knowledgeable enough to comment on this Desz. Try asking your consultant ; you could phone his secretary and ask for a telephone appt. Alternatively phone the Headway helpline to see if they can advise you. Good luck. Cat x

Just joined and seen this sorry you may have answers already. I had the same decompressuve fossa craniectomy I was in hospital for 6 months and travelled about 1 year after the surgeon okayed me to go. Was really frightening as my vision very bad - still had double vision then and in wheelchair but made it!!!!
