Next steps

So as I mentioned two days ago Tony’s claim was denied. Since then we’ve contacted his insurance who told us the doctors notes were insufficient but the doctors say insurance says Tony has had no progress. My issue or source of frustration is that when the doctors finally do see him they ask him to squeeze their hand, and then check his peg site and leave. I don’t really understand how that can show you progress or be helpful. I have gotten more from him because I put in the time and wait. So that is frustrating me. I still do his leg and arm exercises that physical therapy showed me but I never see them come in and do it. Anyway appeal will be submitted sometime today so we shall see what happens. Other than that I keep doing the same playing music, recordings, talking, stimulating holding hands etc.

Hope he gets the decision overturned, hope one day he says he loves me and hugs me that’s all I’m waiting for. Continued prayers and sentiments to you all, your friends and family.

Hi, what a horrid time you are having with the insurance people, they are so happy to take all the money but NOT happy in paying the bills. ( shame on them) do you have someone in a more senior position who can help you to sort this situation out for you both? Please take care and try to have a down time and restore your batteries. I’m sorry for the selfishness of our Government for benefits, the lack of knowledgeable GP’s & no real help from physio!! But I send great blessings that Tony will be more & more healed day after day!!! Pressure on insurance too with my boot!!! You’re 1 in a million!!! And have you got any help from local headway group?? Compassion & Respect ❤️
