Family friend's wife Amanda out of the ICU

Hi all

Hope you're all alright.

Sending this wonderful news on a nice day outside, from Amanda's bedside at the hospital.

24 hours ago Amanda was moved out of the ICU and is also fully off the ventilator, as well.

She is now on the High Dependency Brain Injury & Stroke ward but she's still in a coma. We can still see her vital signs on a smaller monitor because she still has a O2/Oxygen sats peg on one of her right fingers and she's on light oxygen through tubes up each nostril.

Amanda is with another female patient in a 2 bedded room and the other female patient and the nurses have been talking or reading to Amanda after visiting hours.

Wish Amanda was awake to see this nice day outside the hospital window in the 2 bedded room she's in.

We'll keep you all updated on Amanda's condition.
