Health: truth or scare

I don't normally watch daytime TV as I'm normally in work but this week I have found a intresting program on channel 1 at 9:15am which is about myth busting health stories like right now it's taking about antibiotics that may be at the end of it life in medicine

It is true anibiotics are over used and misused hence the "super drugs" ie bacteria that is resistant to antibiotics its also why GP's are much hotter on "no drugs its just a cold/flue"

Biology is on the cusp of being the new Industrial Revolution, so it's both true and a scare story. Lincoln University is in the vanguard of new antibiotics so I don't think the human race is going to disappear because of bacteria just yet, teixobactin:
