10k a week today

Got my first 10k a week today. The man who set up the BI group I go to organises it every year to mark anniversary of him getting BI 6 years ago. I have been practicing running had few sessions running with him in December and January. Done 1 10k on my own in one hour 40 min. The man who organises it wants everyone to be done in 1 hour 30 min or so he told me tho he knows I’ll be bit over. I haven’t done many longer runs this month did a 4K and 5k then 7.5k today and honestly did struggle a bit. I’m hoping to get a 5k done in few days in 45 min then would be on target to get 1 hour 30 min. Should be running with woman who works at group so will probably run bit faster without realising. Whatever happens I will get through this as walking that distance would be easy so it’s just case of going as fast as I can all way.

45 min that’s great. I’ve never ran before never liked it, still find it boring on my own but don’t want to miss out on anything.

Well just done a 5k in 45 min fastest I’ve done one and that was after 7.5k yesterday so good practice think I mite do few km a day then have maybe Friday off and definitely Saturday.
