Here's an idea - Write out what you feel will happen if it doesn't. Then assuming you have absolutely no limitations as to resources times, money, experts or anything else write out your perfect solution for that. Just doing this activity should help bring some level of relief. The beauty of this idea is that you do not have to implement any of what you write.
I had around 2 years when my mind wouldn't stop talking to me and I doubt I could have approached it logically, too many thoughts stopping me thinking clearly.
I don't know if you've got physical difficulties but for me hitting the gym with gusto seemed to dissipate those thoughts if only for that day.
Once you feel fit it's a positive experience for the mind, at least that's been my experience.
