I walked out of my job this morning, I keep telling myself Calm down, then chef asked me to clean something I cleaned 2days ago, ok fine I’ll do it , she then stands over me , explaining how to clean, and then I , attack shouting clean it yourself and **** you , got my jacket and left.now I don’t feel I was wrong or else I’m still wound up. Anyway that’s it . Great right

Does she treat everyone like that? If not you could have a case under the equality act and/or a case of constructive dismissal.

She speaks to me like a child . I’m 46. I’m pretty pissed off with this whole week

The equality act protects people in the workplace who have a long term disability. If she treats you different to other employees I'd say you have a good case.

There seems to be the potential for both a discrimination and constructive dismissal claim to an employment Tribunal.

However constructive dismissal in particular if very hard to win.

If you're determined not to return to work you may be able to get free legal advice from an solicitor specialising in employment law, the Law Society website can give you local specialists who provide Legal Aid:

solicitors.lawsociety.org.uk/

There is no fee involved in taking a claim to the Tribunal.

Conversely if you were happy there before your TBI consider how you'd find working somewhere else with people you don't know, as you still have the option of trying to mend things and perhaps come to a better understanding in your present job.

If you won't return it may help to put your reasons for leaving in writing, speak to a solicitor first if you're considering an employment compensation claim, as the wording could be significant.

Definitely seek legal advice ASAP. When I had issues with a previous employer I spoke to several different ones who all agreed that I would have a good case.

Eventually we made a legal termination agreement.... Less hassle for either side.

Good luck

I’m having a meeting next week , I apologised to my by boss by email , and said it probably was my fault, etc , anyway we shall see. I can not return with that chef. I absolutely believe she was pushing me and will not speak to her. Simple
