Ice dancing is not for me.

Hi all and a happy new year to all.

Not posted for a while....Here's why.

Last week when it was cold and icy my daughter took me shopping. On the way home my road was blocked ( being resurfaced). So she dropped me off at the end off the gennel (walkway) near my home.

Well all was well until I hit a patch of black ice. Let's say Bambi had nothing on me. My legs had never moved as fast. But I didn' fall down.

I got home then the pain began. It has slowly built over the last week until I could hardly walk.

Upshot was I ended up at a walk in centre. The result I have torn my back on my right side ( good side) and put pressure on my siatic nerve.

Don' think I will watch dancing on ice this year..

Oh and just to rub salt in I am off to have 10 weekly jab in my left leg so both legs will now be sore.

Hope everyone is well I am off now to finish off the Xmas chocs for medicinal reasons honest.

Pax

Me too I'm afraid Pax..............but you always manage to inject humour into any mis-haps.

I really hope your aches & pains will be short lived and you're back to normal (whatever that is) before long. I blame the road-works. Rest up & keep taking the pain killers m'love ! xxx
