Two steps forward, five steps back...

I've been suffering from post concussion syndrome for nearly two years now. I recently saw a neurologist through my private health cover provided by work. He referred me on to a neuropsychiatrist but I've just heard from the health provider that they won't cover this as the PCS relates to my pre-existing depression. After the hope of getting somewhere with this, I'm back to square one.

Could your neurologist refer you to someone in NHS? Often Drs work in both NHS and in private clinics so possibility could be same person within the NHS. If not there would be other NHS Drs you could be referred to.

I think that will have to be my next step but I'm not holding out much hope for treatment given the state of the NHS and "only" having a "mild" brain injury.
