Help+support needed...

Hi every1, I'm new here. I had a heart attack a couple of years ago as the result of an eating disorder. It caused brain damage+has affected my memory. I now struggle with chronic depression. I feel like I've lost myself+I really don't know what to do any more...

The doctor knows how depressed I've been feeling. I've been referred for therapy but I'm unlikely to hear anything this year now. He's been trying me on various antidepressants. Currently I'm on Mirtazapine.

OK. I know it's usually a long wait for therapy Bunkey, but not too long I hope.

And please remember that the antidepressants could be trial & error for some time yet. If the Mirtazapine works for you, fine. If not there'll be another one with your name on it.

I know it's rough waiting for help when you're desperate for help now ; it took a year of trying different SSRIs before I found the one which changed my life and which I'm still taking 25 years on.
