Hi Everyone

Well I did get here - thank God. I am 60 today and following my illness a year ago I and my family are grateful that we are able to go out together to celebrate. It could all have been so different for my family. This day has helped me to reflect and to appreciate small mercies and big ones! I am feeling positive today because I am still here and I intend to enjoy whatever the day has to offer be it little or small. Hope every one else has a positive day. Clare x

Happy Birthday Clare, I had my 60th birthday 9 months post BI. I felt just like you and I still do now only 2 months to my 65th birthday and life is still good.

I have my ups and downs but on the whole all is good.

Happy Birthday again and many more of them x

Happy belated 60th birthday Clare, like you I celebrated my 60th last October, three months later I had a stroke and was lucky to survive, I too count my blessings and make the most of everyday, not everyone is able to do that love Alice xx

I reached 70 this year after a ruptured aneurysm last year so I know exactly how you feel. It was so amazing to still be here and able to celebrate. We had a big family holiday. It was also my golden wedding anniversary and my daughters 40th so a really really biggy. Now you will have to start planning for your 70th and i will start planning my 80th. Roll on the good times. Oh and I hope you had a wonderful birthday and continue to celebrate it all year. x
