Myself and the mini Baroness standing by the model of Sir Horace Pratt-Tiddles
Sir Horace was a knight of the realm who achieved the title by being an utterly horrific brown-noser of the first order. In fact records do show that for the last 7 years of Henry's life, Sir Horace bought him bedding made from the highest quality wools and bacon produced by the very finest pigs in the land. Those gifts lead to the very first use of the phrase 'Bed And breakfast' noted in the English language.
Henry III ultimately tired of Horace to the extent that he granted him a knighthood in order to,
'Simply maketh you go away'.
