This poster on my kitchen wall, never fails to elicit a smile. Especially when making my plunger coffee!

laughter is the best medicine....
The title is true, laughter is the best medicine. I remember a few years ago someone told me how a man with a brain injury treated their injury by watching films that made them laugh. Apparently, when people laugh their brains produce a chemical that can heal.
It's a shame I have a dry humour and don't laugh so much :).
A dry sense of humour is just as good Matt. I bet you laugh just as much on the inside. That's good medicine too!
I'm glad you see it that way. I do laugh a lot on the inside too and I try to smile a lot when needed.
I was being a bit modest about my dry humour. I can be dry at times but can also have a... Wet sense of humour too :).
For instance, I am in a cinema or theatre and I could be watching something that is humourous but some things said or done can seem, to me, smirk-worthy and someone in the row behind me finds this certain something hilarious.
That certainly strikes a chord for me Claire. If I'm raring for a fight, a cuppa will always transform me into the sweet / reasonable person I prefer to be ! 😇 xxx
