Just a thought does anyone else feel worse without the sun. I know dampness makes my joints ache more and it is said the lack of sun effects mood.
So with this in mind I was wondering if people had noticed things being harder during this non sun summer.
I myself have noticed a significant difference physicality and mentally.
If this is the case I was hoping to gather enough evidence and I may approach my gp and ask for a prescription for two weeks in the sun. On medical grounds only.
Nahhhh don't think he'd go for it but may be worth a try.
Seriously though has anyone else noticed the constant rain effect them.....apart from getting wet obviously.

Absolutely Pax, my balance is worse and my "funny" heads are more frequent. When I mentioned it to the GP he gave me a "really" kind of look. But I think it's an air pressure thing, like a barometer, I'm worst when it might read "change able"
Don't let anyone tell you it's rubbish xxxx

Have you noticed how it affects everyone? Walking along the road in the sunshine, everyone seems smiley and many say hello. When it is wet and horrid, people scurry along with their heads down. Mind you, I don't fancy the temperatures they have on the continent at the moment, think I'd rather stick with the rain.
Yes, Everything is a drag. Especially without my pick-me-up, morale, The Log Burner! Will monitor any difference in symptoms in winter, especially that it's not skateboarding weather...
I have exactly the same problem and went to the go for a full MOT done for my bloods. It showed that I was lacking in vitamin D so this was prescribed and after a couple of weeks I immediately started to feel better. Even if you can't have the sun, you may still need the vitamins.
yes though mine is balance/fatigue related, by which I mean that in winter months there are less daylight hours, and since my balance is very reliant on sight, it is harder and much more tiring.
I actually like winter weather I'm much happier at -10 than 30C
Along with other important functions, my thermostat is broken so I do not like summer at all it makes me feel dreadful. The humidity plays havoc with everything and I am left dizzy and blah.
I am now a winter person, although the cold in my ears also makes me dizzy that can be sorted with earmuffs - which help noise filtering too of course so that is a win win ...
Sunshine dazzles me way too much and I'll take winter over summer any day.
