My mum negatively :" your Always zonked out looking "

Friend: Don't tell me your still in Bed.... ( 10 a.m saterday )

Me inside my Head :I'm Fighting Alone / One Day at a Time. Acting for the world, to hide them from my reality. Just let me get there, one piece at a time..

I privately Seek old friends / spend time, that knew me from The Time before TBI.

Anyone else? Some comfort for me.

( August hoping to remember to pop into a Headway centre)

Sounds as if your mum is trying to convey concern whilst attempting to avoid too much 'mumsiness'.

But that's an odd friend you have who thinks a 10am start on a Saturday is worthy of a raised eyebrow !

Keep doing what you're doing Ghost to get through each day. None-BI-ers have no conception of the willpower that takes. It's a bit lonely working through it alone as no one's going to pat you on the back now & again, but you're doing great.............honestly ! 👍

Thankyou cat. Hard to find the worthy words for response sometimes. Wish I had a mum or Keystone Adult in family but I haven't. What I have is a Bigger TBI Headway family.

Looking to getting a Home soon & slowly settling down. Tetris pieces will be slower than Usual Speed ;)

You're a Great Tonic for so many on Here. Really appreciated.

Coffee.... X

Thanks m'love.

I'm really sorry hearing you've no key figures in your life for encouragement or moral support.

Maybe if/when you can get your own personal space and create a positive enviromnment for yourself (with no one bringing you down) the freedom will allow you to develop your 'new' self ................ which is what we, with BI, have to fully acknowledge before we can be comfortable in our own skin.

Not sure I understand your reference to 'Cat Cafe' (in reply to Vick) but we have such a cafe here in Manchester, where the proprietors have cats of all shapes, sizes & breeds wandering around, and it's called The Cat Cafe !

Take care Ghost................x 😾😼🐱

Cat café.. Feline friends to decompress or impress with :) Fortunate to have one very local to me. It's probably the biggest Life saver in my Life. Folk are naturally able to talk instantly with the commonality... Cats. Will visit Manchester cats at some point. Have a Great week. X

Hi ..sadly I know exactly where your coming from. I continually find that all my connections pre injury say such things . alongside are u still struggling with this .. as of it's unbelievable and u may be milking it .. as if your gone say actually no I'm over it the antibiotics did the trick. and it makes u feel further and further away from them and less courageous at the idea of making connections that don't set expectations then punish you for failing them.

I personally have ended up totally isolated from all I knew as I never meet expectations of others then they are mad at me

Thankyou for your time. Reply. You've made me realise I got dumped 4 times in the years after.. 3 lefts presents due to gilt. Which was kind/ weird, then vanished completely. Sorry for your singleness :( I'm on the "awaiting dispatch shelf " ref any romance.

Only a small circle of friends. Compensate when interactive at work with folk & the eye candy..

Brain wouldn't disconnect last night, so at 3 a.m, rang work to say I'm off sick... Tried movie, toast, heaps of music finally got me there.

If Dating happens to me, If, will be interesting...

Reference folks attitude to continued struggles.. That was years ago! Didn't you see a doctor? My mum is totally useless & is the course of Life mistakes taking her " horrendous advice ". So she's always Never going to know of my Personal Hell.

Fresh coffee? Have to go enjoy. Cat cafe also to speak with The Experts!!! ^^@
