they are sanity, a soft place to fall, a hug, a white feather, reality, knowledge, a hand to hold, a light in the dark and a comforting word to soothe a weary heart...
The TV reporters were following a group of people on the streets of London - all in a confused state, mixture of depression and anger, some babbling away not making much sense. Many haven't worked in years and to spent most of their lives living off the state but now face an uncertain future having to reintegrate into society
Don't think they had a head injury but MP's whom had lost their seats
I totally agree with all the kind comments that everyone has said about the headway team, They are just simply brilliant. 4 years ago now since i had my haemorrhage, and it's not very often i get in touch with them now, but I know if i ever need them they will always be there for me. Bless them all. and i really do mean it from the bottom of my heart
Headway helpline staff are FABULOUS. Helped me so much understand and navigate through getting my head injury diagnosed and before and after appointments, tests etc. So wise, reassuringing and empowering. Really helped my GP too, who found literature useful. Please do tell them they were a lifeline with this forum, saved my sanity.
