I really must be the luckiest person ever to have such good friends and family. Four of my friends are doing a Colour Obstacle Rush to raise money for Headway as a thank you for all that you have done for me. I did not feel I could take part but so that I didn't feel left out they have called their team "Maureen's Mates". I feel blessed every day by my lovely friends and wonderful family. I am not sure that they are aware of how much they have contributed to my recovery. When i came out of my coma and became more aware I felt as though I was enveloped in a huge white fluffy duvet filled with love. This is the link to the page - justgiving.com/fundraising/...

but this isn't to persuade you to donate but just because i felt the need to say how beautiful my friends and family are.

How lovely for you Maureen, and i agree i think support can go an awful long way to aiding one's recovery after a BI. Really happy for you.

Friends are vastly underrated but oh so essential to well being. I don't write on here often but I pop on and read all the time. So much sound advice xx
