Hi Kavib.

Must agree with you. No matter how far you walk it is good for you.

I know it is painful to walk ( I include myself in this) but that's why we have painkillers. We are not talking doing a marathon ( unless you want to) but any distance is a good distance.

I have been involved with a local short walk group and can't wait to get back out there. I will also be honest and if you ever saw our group I would be the one at the back...keeping an eye on everyone ...honest.

Keep on walking.

Pax x

I should walk more, my balance is poor and thus my walk is slow due to this, and more tiring. I used to be a very good walker, easily yomp over hills at a comfortable 4+mph now 3mph on flat smooth Tarmac feels like a speed March!

Big fan of walking here, Kavib : )

I credit my ability to improve strength and stamina to my love of walking and gardening. I am lucky to have fields and a big park very local to where I live and a lovely pooch who loves walking as much as I do : ) x

Walking is very slow due to balance problems, but try to make sure he has a walk everyday.

We use a Fitbit which is great for motivation as long as you don't set the goals too high
