Listen to your vibe. Don't worry, an wasted energy. I certainly don't cook, run the bath, chainsaw etc. Your vibe is 6th sense. Use it dude :)

If you think something is really wrong, get advice. Otherwise, just rest for the rest of the day and see if it passes.

Fingers crossed for you,

Sometimes it is hard to go from one strong feeling -- being very scared -- to one that is very different, e.g.,being positive. As exhausted wife suggested, if you really feel like you are moving to a crisis, please seek help. If you are feeling uneasy and a vague dread, then maybe it is best to just acknowledge it and set it aside beside you. You may then notice that you can be calm, because you have the chance to recognize that you are capable and able to act in response to any of the possible outcomes. When agitated I try to let my breathing and body get calm first. That sends a message to the brain and then it calms down too. Trying to force peace through agitated thoughts is harder. I hope that you have a truly good day, Pat-rick.

Hi Patrick i didn't know much about you so been catching up on your posts. I don't know if it helps at all but i would suggest what you're feeling isn't uncommon. I had a stroke almost 2 yrs ago and suffered with fatigue (probably the tiredness you mention in other posts) and a lot of the time i used to feel very overwhelmed about things. Both have improved a great deal over time and with lots of routine and repetition in place to allow me to 'function' normally whatever normal is after a brain injury i am learning to manage the fatigue which seems to stop the overwhelmed feelings. It doesn't work all the time and sometimes i can have bad days but the good outweigh the bad.

Do you know notice a pattern at all in the changes of how you feel? If how you're feeling is too much and it can be sometimes then I urge you to have a chat with your GP. Rachel x

Ya all ok thanks , teaching myself to not over think etc etc

Hi Patrick it's difficult because for me i believe the overwhelming/ over thinking is fatigue related. However i try to use the analogy of only being concerned about what i can control. I have found in the past I'd start to worry about an upcoming event wondering how I'd cope etc to find it wasn't half as bad as i thought. X
