I suddenly took to writing poetry out of the blue after suffering a stroke in 2015. Here is one of the many that i've written.

Part of the silver lining in your cloud😊

Nice one, Rachel. All of us on here will get what you are talking about. It is our new normal to get knackered suddenly and to flinch at sudden noises and we just have to deal with it. It is a long journey from anger and denial to acceptance and yes, writing is amazingly therapeutic. Keep up the poems. I am just about to try and finish a short story for a fiction competition. Have a good day all - sun is bright here in Sussex and Spring will, eventually, come.

Great poetry Rachel.

Writing certainly is a wonderful creative outlet for our thoughts and observations as we view life from a different perspective, following life changing events. Keep going with your new found talent. xx

Thankyou all for your lovely comments. As said i took to writing poetry out of the blue after my stroke, couldn't make two lines rhyme before. I've written numerous poems i'll post a few more. Thanks all for making me so welcome. xx
