Morning 8175. What was the nature of your ABI and when did it happen ?
I had a Subarachnoid haemorrhage 5 years ago which has left mw with short-term memory loss, headaches, mobility issues and heightened emotions ............otherwise I'm fine !
How has your BI affected you ?
Oh, and sorry.............. I meant to say Welcome !

Erm, i fell out of a window at 18m and landed head first on a pile of bricks causing a depressed fracture, that was followed up by a car accident 5 years later and another head injury... one of those things
Just caught up with you on your other post (might be good to stick to one identity & ditch the other to avoid confusion). Concerning your benefit, I agree with everything Caroline (Strawberry Cream) has said, especially the part about bringing proof of your incapacity up to date.
I wish you well Ricky & hope you can get the support needed for a successful claim. For extra support you might like to call the Headway helpline tomorrow on 0808 800 2244 - calls are free (office hours). Cat x
Welcome 8175. When you feel ready please do tell us a little about how you sustained your abi and how it affects you. Maybe you are finding some help and understanding from reading through the posts on here.
