Boring TV

Is it just me but is TV boring we have FreeSat 150+ channels and their is nothing to watch

I am about to search You tube for something to watch on said tv ( we have a smart tv now after our former tv said bye bye )

I got rid of my tv a year ago after deciding what dross there was on offer! I'm not a fan of the BBC - bias propoganda and over-rated!! Radio 4 is okay though. Otherwise youtube's good for al lot of entertainment.

You are correct! Most are repeats of repeats ad nauseum.

The mainstream channels can be quite boring but I recently discovered the Travel Channel (no 42) which surprisingly has nothing about Travel on there.

BBC 4 (no 9) and National Geographic (317) or even Yesterday (19) has some eclectic mixes where some evenings they have evenings on crime, technology, music or history

CBS Action (64) and Syfy (319) has some reruns of older series which can be quite good.

But your correct there are a lot of useless and pointless programs about celebs, portraying people on benefits badly and encouraging loutish behaviour.

Absolute rubbish most of it. Try Eden, lots of natural history programs. My husbands favourite channel, along with Gold for comedy's

TV in general sucks! I have got rid of satellite tv and I've got Netflix and amazon which is better. It means you can pick the programmes you want to watch. I quite like channel 4 and BBC media players. Otherwise a good book is the way to go. I just discovered you can download library books and magazines to your iPad for free for a fixed period of time and you can do it all online.
