Hi Eddie. Posts shooting off into thin air is pretty common and the best way to preserve them is to copy & paste before sending.

Members do meet up occasionally after getting to know one another a bit better. Why don't you tell us some basics about yourself i.e. how you sustained your brain injury and how you're coping day to day ?

Best wishes ...................

My brain injury was caused by a bleed 5 years ago and, apart from memory and balance issues, I've coped pretty well.

What was the cause of your injury Eddie ?

Now why did I immediately assume you'd been in a bike smash ? .........................probably because your photo has 'biker' written all over it !

Is that your present mode of transport in the profile photo ; the open top vehicle (VW ?).

How do you find the Headway centre in Salford ? I've never been to one ; the one near to me closed down, probably through lack of funding.

I struggle a bit in group situations since the haemorrhage which is pretty odd when I recall what a 'people person' I was before.

How much would you say your life has changed as a result of your brain injury Eddie ?

Hi Eddie, things disappear when I write them too. I have wonky fingers and keep pressing keys that I didn't mean to.

Have you phoned Headway to see if they have a group near you? You would meet people at their meetings giving you friends who understand how things are for you.

Have a good day and keep trying to post things on here. It is a friendly group and a great support if you have problems.
