Got a phone call yesterday saying that I need to come in for an "urgent appointment" today. I had a scan about 3 weeks ago so I'm slightly crapping myself.

Can totally understand your panic, anxiety, fear and assumption it is related to your recent scan. My thoughts are with you and once you have found out please do share with us why you got called to an 'urgent appointment'. Best wishes.

I'm sure it'll be fine...and I base that on nothing.

Well, if they have spotted something, at least they have got on the blower and called you in, presumably to tell you what they plan to do about it. So that would show the pre-emptive scanning regime is working, which must be 'a good thing' , and as long as they have a practical solution for you that is 'a good thing' too, even if it means more hospital, more ops, more hassle.

So I am pleased you are being seen so quickly (shows the NHS can pull its finger out when needed), and I will be hoping and praying for some positive practical solution to whatever it is they have spotted.

Best wishes Ben -go well. x

Understandable reaction - hoping and praying here too that there is either a glitch that disappears on re-scan or something quick and easy to be done to resolve the issue.

All the very best with keeping calm and carrying on until your appointment Ben. Keep us posted please.

Ben and its only natural to think this way, our brains keep coming up with all different scenarios and as we know its generally never any of the one's we have thought.....

Good Luck and keep a positive outlook....

I guess there is no use in worrying until you find out if it's worth worrying about , Ben - easier said than done, I know.

Deep breaths and keep us posted,
