Behind that smile 😊

Last night for the first time i saw the smile I've been yearning for. Doesn't seem like much but to me it meant the world.

The look behind that smile from my mark may not happen again who knows. But it was there

He saw a tear in my eyes but didn't know why. It's something to hold on to no matter how small it seems 😊

Love him so very much. Just had to share xx

Hi Debbie,

A smile is a smile is a smile. When my first born first smiled I was told it was wind but to me it was the biggest and best smile ever.

Take joy in the smile and as with all smiles let it lighten the dark. It could be the first twinkle of sunlight from the beautiful dawn of a new day.

Kindest thought always

Geoff

I see where you're coming from Debbie. After my transfer from ICU to Rehab I apparently greeted my son with a smile as he walked into the ward and he was so, so happy and relieved to see that smile, and told me so.

He said that was the moment he watched me come back from my world into his.

Good news ; I'm happy for you. xx

What a wonderful thing to happen for you and for Mark.

Now that you both know he can smile I have full belief it will happen again.

It may take a while but it will happen. Sometimes in my journey I have done something but not been able to do it again for weeks. But just knowing that I did it gave me the much needed motivation to go on.

Lots of lovenhugs to you both

Hang on to that smile, hopefully it will be the first of many.

He knows you love him, that will give him massive strength, hang in there.

Hi Debbie

I am so pleased for you after your post the other day. I am sure this smile will be the first of many :)! I guess, I am not sure, but Mark is become more aware and his head is perhaps making more sense. This is how I felt soon after.

Keep us posted. All the waiting has been worth it πŸ˜„

Take care xx
