Make sure you eating plenty of this

Think we just need a sensible, balanced diet, personally.

Yes Mal. And avoiding processed foods is a very sensible thing to do. Natural foods are the way to go. I have an omega mix which is seeds/grains I sprinkle on my cereal.

Speaking of cereal, I used to eat a lot of Kellogg's cereals. DON'T! Kellogg's isn't good for you. I now eat porridge/oatmeal.

Really it is just rolled oats in a bowl, kind of like muesli. Like I said, I sprinkle an omega mix (which is good for the brain) and I put raisins in as well.

I try to steer clear from advertised foods now.

I read this wrong. At first I thought you were saying people should eat trans fats. I was going to say, "No they shouldn't". Trans fats is dangerous. Trans fats can clog up the arteries and bring on cardio vascular disease or even heart attacks.
