Hi everyone.

I am downloading 'Peak', as Matt suggested, so will definitely try it

The othe game which is very good, I play most days, is Lumosity. It's also a brain game, and has good memory games, as well as mathematical things. I think it's a free app!

Have a try!

Good luck!

Hi Nutkin,

I downloaded Lumosity as well. I have only played a few mind games on there so far and it is similar to 'peak' but I say that doesn't matter. The more mind games, the better. Even if they are similar :).

Take care,

MJ

Glad you like it. One thing I noticed between Peak and Lumosity is that if you decide to pay a subscription, it is cheaper with Peak. I'm paying Β£4 a month for that but I thought Lumosity was a bit much.

Who wow. I didn't know I paid anything for Lumosity! My memory for that is not good! Thanks for letting me know! πŸ˜€πŸ˜€

I might've confused you, sorry.

Lumosity is free but if you want to subscribe it can cost you from Β£9, I think that is a little steep compared to Peak.

I used to think I didn't like people that play 'Mind Games' think perhaps I'd better re-think that opinion lol ;-)

Perhaps I'd better try them myself (the apps not the other mind games ;-) ).

I always enjoy fun things and judging from both yours and Matts recommendations they sound fun.

Just have to make sure I don't press the 'PAY' button otherwise the bank balance will definitely NOT be fun lol.

Take care Nutkin

Lumosity offered 5 people joining up together for Β£100 about a year ago ( I know someone who signed up for the once off payment for lifetime usage) so they do have offers. I occasionally play the 3 free games a day. I think it does help with attention, but my memory is still shot and I can't remember the patterns of shapes in the boxes etc. There is another one Memozer? for memory as well which is free.

I've subscribed to lumosity for the past 2 years, although I first started playing 6 years ago. Having played for such a long time I have a lot of data documenting my progress which the site stores for you. At first I felt stupid, but I've gradually become proficient in most of the games after much investment. Its definitely worth the price if you plan on making brain training a part of your life and if it makes me a better worker or person then it's more than worth it. The way I see it is, if we spend so much time on the internet, we might as well be putting it to good use.

There are discount vouchers available if you search, I think I spend Β£45 for a years' subscription with a discount added, that works out at around Β£4 a month.

Ok cool. I'm so glad you're using it. There are a couple of games that I am totally useless at. Anyway, I keep trying! πŸ˜€πŸ˜€
