The last supper.

Imagine you were sentenced to death row and in your final hours you were allowed to consume one of your most favoured dishes, what would it be?

Mine would be my Mum's home made quiche Lorraine.

There are quite a few dishes that my Mum makes that are lush and I do like the taste of Bacon or Ham mixed with cheese :).

Lovely. I love apple crumble and it must be surrounded by a moat of thick custard :).

My own chicken balti and mushroom fried rice all cooked with fresh ingredients and my own fair hand.

Rather delicious, even if I do say so myself!

That sounds good but for me doughnuts must have a jam centre. Morrison's do the best jam doughnuts around these parts :).

Where I live anyhow.

Lasagne is another of my faves. It also reminds me of Garfield the cat :).

Roast lamb, parsnips, roast onion, new potatoes, green beans and a delicious gravy for me. If I were allowed a pudding dark chocolate mousse and tinned pear, and cream.

Pudding would be part of the supper so that is allowed :). Not a big fan of new potatoes here. I'll eat them but I prefer my Mum's potatoes or chips, soft in the inside, crunchy on the outside.

Thanks for allowing me pudding - Jersey Royal new potatoes with butter and mint - yum yum for me! But almost any potato but hash browns, oven chips or wedges will do me. I blame my Irish ancestors!

I know, out of all the words in the post, it had to pick 'death' and 'taste'. It kind of makes it sound like the last supper is poison :).
