Anyone affect by the weather? Sudden changes and thunderstorms?

It's been very sticky and what I would say as close. This evening it's started to rain and it really feels like a big pressure change, it's almost like I can taste the electrical charge in the air.

I get a build up of pressure in my head and feel cruddy till the lightening flashes and the thunder rumbles, then it starts all over again with the pressure building.

It wears me out and leaves mr feeling quite drained.

Anyone else react to the weather or is it just me?

I can taste snow in the air too! ( not today, I meant before it snows)

  • Only thing I get is if its cold I can feel the line of the fracture, some big rolling thunder storms over this part of london.

  • I've had this theory for ages. My worst days are when the air pressure rises or falls rapidly, I don't get headaches but my balance is worse and the feeling of pressure in my head is awful.

We have the Whiworth Observatory In Manchester that posts graphs of air pressure by the minute every day, when I'm feeling particularly bad I check the site and the graph is usually rising or falling steeply and erratically.

Doesn't mean I can stop it but it gives me a reason for the bad feelings.

So, yes I understand where you sre coming from xxxx

  • I GET A FEELING OF PRESSURE IN MY EARS. IT'S ODD BUT I'M SURE I CAN SMELL THE RAIN BEFORE IT ARRIVES. I HATE SUMMER AS THE COLOUR OF THE SUNLIGHT SETS MY FITS OFF NEURO SAYS I HAVE A YELLOW SPECTRUM SUNLIGHT LIGHT INTOLERANCE. I CAN INSTANTLY FEEL THE LIGHT'S ALL WRONG AS WELL AS SEE IT WHEN I GO OUTSIDE. WINTER SUN IS APPARENTLY ON THE WHITER END OF THE SPECTRUM SO I'D BE ALRIGHT INTHE ARCTIC!

  • I can imagine it may be a little bit lonely in the arctic. It must be rough to suffer from summer sun when most people benefit so much from being warm and the vitamin d.

  • NO PEOPLE AROUND SOUND GREAT TO ME!! JUST ME & THE POLAR BEARS, HEAVEN!

  • Osteoarthritis of the spine and most of my other joints are effected by the weather.

But atmospheric pressure effects my headaches, dizziness and thought processes.

What about solar storms? They seem to have an effect too.

  • The damaged bones don't like the damp or the cold, spine knees ankles shoulder arm, anything that has been injured or surgically altered so I understand that.

    Not aware of solar storms

  • Solar storms anyone?

  • I think I get these in my head?

  • Never heard of solar storms!

  • Weather still grotty, got a stinking headache and didnt get much sleep. Feeling very grumpy today.

  • same here

  • I get some absolutely stonking headaches when the storms are rolling in. Shame really, because I chuffing love watching a good storm

  • Solar storms affect too, but I used to notice that before the BI

  • yes the weather affects me as well , I need lots of vitamin D as a result of the vaccination which went wrong,

I have MS Symptoms and serious Damage to my nervous system + brain damage so the hotter the better for me

so with the weather as it is at this time I feel totally S--T

  • Whenever it rains there's less atmospheric pressure which means the air you breathe holds less oxygen. This is why hyperbaric oxygen therapy can alleviate headaches and other symptoms.

  • Maybe we all need a oxygen tent then! :-)

  • Oh joy, I've got toothache as well feeling like my head is squeezing and my eyes are pulling out. Probably lack of sleep. Feel like I wish it would storm , pour down, and go elsewhere instead of sitting over us for so long.

Everything is achy from the damp. I am still a grumpy old get tonight!

  • It's kind of good to know other people feel the weather, not good if you are uncomfy for long.

Hope we all feel tip top tomorrow.

  • I WOULD LIKE TO JOIN THE STINKING HEAD CLUB TODAY TOO. FEELS LIKE A PAIR OF TONGS ARE SQUEEZING MY TEMPLES & A SAW IS CUTTING DOWN FROM THE TOP OF MY HEAD.

I'VE ALSO GOT PINS & NEEDLES IN MY CHEEKS, ACCROSS MY SHOULDERS DOWN TO MY ELBOWS I'VE NEVER HAD THAT BEFORE. ANYONE ELSE HAD THIS?
