Fed up with DWP now going to small claims.

Sick and tired of being victimised by the staff at the DWP and being called in to face work focused interviews when they know I am unable to work because of this brain injury. I am taking them to small claims court now after they sanctioned my benefits. The hatred I have for this scum is not compatible with words.

I have a friend who has brain injury and did the fumbling insane nutter routine. He just ambled around Jobseekers asking everyone for help in a retarded sort of way asking 'have I come on the right day?' and 'is my support worker here?', 'can you help me please?'. They got him to go home eventually, but there's no way he's up to paid work. I wish I'd been there to see it.

I have said this before just because we might look ok does not mean that we are, so we should take acting lessons to look like an insane nutter that way we might be taken seriously.

spartan id give him a slap for taking the out of me and 000s like me....disability isnt always physical

I'm not sure if you think this is all a bit a laugh but whatever your angle is you need to know that these matters are serious. I have a 15 year old with Nail Patella Syndrome and oppositional behaviour disorders who might not eat next week. We are not playing games, my head injury stops me making a living it's not something myself or most others use just to con the system.

it is not a laugh mate brain injury is serious but because you cannot see it people in many walks of life doctors nurses DWP ATOS etc don't take us serious enough so a little acting could help.

Exactly!

Completely agree! Problem is they are all following tick sheets and the common sense human side gets lost in the process! Brain injury is the hidden injury no one can see hence it hard for people (even medical staff) to understand. Perhaps it masy be worth speaking to a disability awareness group and get their help with it> Good luck and stay strong x
