Hi all I've started my first course of venesection and am thinking should I postpone my vaccinations until they are finished. I'm having venesection every other week. Thanks in advance.

No! Why would you? Removing some blood won't stop remaining blood to do vaccines business.

At least I wouldn't! Vaccination does protect. But then you could ask your medical team!

Stay safe.

Hi. I remember when I first started my veni's. I was on weekly for nearly a year. Now on 3 monthly. Your body makes teh blood volume back up within about 24 hours, especially if you remain hydrated. It wont make any difference at all to your vaccinations. Dont postpone due to the Veni's.

Take care.
