Anyone know anything about them?

'Wheat and Gluten free' . .

Had some earlier, my lips have blistered and are feeling weird????

My son is anaphylactic to peanuts, aware of symptoms, my tongue is fine, I am breathing!! :o)

If they're the sweet chilli ones, we've bought them a number of times from Costco over the last couple of years. The ones we bought recently left a strange aftertaste which lingered for ages, but that had never happened before so we wondered if the ingredients had changed. Maybe you're particularly sensitive to whichever ingredient that is - I thought it was either the chilli powder or garlic but couldn't be sure.

Hope that helps.

It is those exact ones!

Only thing I can see is Maize Flour, packet states wheat & gluten free, but with this 20ppm thing . . are they really?!!

Would take it up with the producers Lilac...as a matter of urgency. You too GFMum...especially with the aftertaste...

Hope you are both now feeling better...

I emailed Riceworks, lovely email back.

Have now sent them batch numbers from packet and they are going to investigate . .

Luckily we weren't ill as such, it was just an unpleasant taste which lingered for hours. Unfortunately I haven't got the packet & as it put us off buying any more there's probably not much point in me trying to contact them now. Please keep us posted, LilacPrincess, I'd be interested to hear what they have to say.

This is the latest . . .

Here's what I have been able to come up with.

Our records indicate this item was running between low end and target near this time in both seasoning application and oil content.  We have not received any other complaints on this

product to date.  We do have record of preforming an appearance, texture, flavor test on the product off this machine 3 minutes prior to your bag and it scored well with no noted issues.

This item does contain sesame seeds is there a possibility you may be allergic to them?

Thanks

Lip thing happened again yesterday afternoon, I had only eaten my normal safe food. Went to Dr surgery, he said defo an allergic reaction, but no idea what to! Strong antihistamine and bloods for allergy testing on Friday!
