Huggle my wheat pack!

go find a quiet corner and read a book.............take painkillers cos i always get mega tummy ache and try not to feel sorry for meself.....then i go bed early.....:(

Peppermint tea. Charcoal capsules. Lots of water.

I drink plenty of water, take Immodium for the diarrhea, use an antacid for the gas, a warm blanket or hot pack for the cramps and pain, take extra Vitamin C and B Complex to help my liver detox my body and ride it out ... I also sit very still and try and figure out how I got gluttened so it doesn't happen again soon!

i just drink loads of water

Has anyone tried liver salts or alka seltzer or something similar? (Not in laxative quantities, obvs.) I read a book where the author suggested this for dealing with reactions when reintroducing foods after an elimination diet, and I've read about it on various American coeliac sites. I can't remember the mechanics of it. I'll have to dig the book out.

I find drinking warm water, resting, keep covered to stop the shivers and trying to keep my miind occupied but thats not easy when you have a pain etc

Have running shoes on (just in case)...drink lots of water...take diocalms and Gaviscon.

Find some space where I can be on my own, preferably in the sunshine....need the fresh air...

Or if thats not possible, sit on sofa and cuddle my kitty.

Hi Mia, I tested self twice...once with penguin biscuit and small KitKat, and with plain wheat couple small pancakes. Both times was afer 1hour slight queesy then violent vomit and wretching for 2 -3hours then just rested but was ok. Accidental possible Glutened, was at bus stop and started wretching, very embarrasing but not sick..later was queezy for few hours but ok later. Being extra careful now. Was diagnose 2007 found it hard to accept but did diet 100% That is why eventually tested self.

I eat plain boiled rice, for me that is medicine . calms down the gut and shortens my reaction by a day or two. mix with pesto/herbs etc for flavour.
