If you have a Carluccio's. they serve gluten free pasta. I eat there regularly and have never had a problem.

Hya, I always recommend that coeliac Google gluten free in their area as that usually proves fruitful.

I would also check out the well established ''Coeliac map'' And I always inform them of gf establishments when I come across them:

coeliacmap.com/Map

I hope that you meet other coeliac in your area for a face to face chat and you can always chat on here as you are amongst coeliac on here. And if you have any specific questions then please feel free to ask away.

And good luck.

@Clairwebb sometimes independent restaurants may suprise you. We were Bracknell way recently and needed somewhere cheap and cheerful to eat. We rang The Three Frogs pub/restaurant and spoke to the manager. They were very helpful and managed to provide a tasty gf meal. If you want further ideas on chains that are in your area check out Coeliac in the City Pinterest boards pinterest.com/coeliacin/

Hi, depending on what sort of meal you were looking for, I found two places that do gluten free food, one being wetherspoons pubs (look for the GF symbols in the menu they are clearly marked) and the other being TGI fridays when given a menu ask for the gluten free one as they do a seperate menu for GF and lactose intolerant !!! have eaten at both many times and have never had any problems, hope this helps some :-)

Hi Clair,

I'm not coeliac, but am allergic to all gluten containing grains, I also have other allergies that make life difficult. I live in Bracknell and my favourite restaurant is the Schezuan Inn in Wokingham - they are really helpful. Another is Wagamama's in Windsor and Camberly. Aaaand Zizzi's now do a gluten free pasta option for all their pasta dishes.

I make most of the carb based item of my diet, just made some corn tortilla's and some GF noodles for the first time, just hope they are OK after all the effort.

Happy to meet for a chat!
