Oh dear, never heard of anything like that before, how did you eat gluten?Hope you feel better soon.
Not hands, but feet. Doctor suggested it was peripheral neuropathy. It wore off after a few days. It is worth reporting to your GP though.
Have looked at your Bio and see you also have Crohns and RA. Both are auto-immune and I wonder if you have had your thyroid CORRECTLY tested - ruling out auto-immune thyroid - aka as Hashimotos.
Do you know your levels of B12 - Folate - Ferritin - VitD ? 🌻
hi i have my bloods tested every three months because i’m on methotrexate injections so if there was anything low it would show up there i’massuming
Yes, on occasion. Never sure if it is gluten or arthritis which I also have in my thumb joints.
I have osteoarthritis in my knees (but the x-rays say it is only early stages) It was at it's worst when I was still eating gluten. Since I was diagnosed I just get occasional flare-ups like other people with OA instead of being hardly able to walk - so I feel sure that gluten aggravates the arthritis. What I am trying to say is that I don't think it is a question of whether it is gluten or arthritis, but that it is both together - gluten making the arthritis worse.
