Grandson blood test came back negative for coeliac, but on for 3rd blood test because liver result is high?drs not explaning why?

Liver dysfunction can be associated with coeliac disease, so I guess they need extra / specific tests for this (?) Good luck with sorting this out, I hope your grandson is ok.

Coeliac disease can affect your liver enzymes. I imagine thats the reason for testing for coeliac disease. Sometimes it can be very difficult to diagnose liver function tests.

Also the tests can range from slightly raised, which could be caused by anything from food, meds to alcohol and showing liver damage.

Have they suggested any other testing?
