Hey everyone,

I'm 17 weeks pregnant. I have Hashimotos, all going good, levels are fine, baby is good.

I've 2 questions to ask.

Has anyone gone gluten free during pregnancy?

Is there any evidence or research into gluten and autoimmune conditions or more specifically Hashimotos??

Congratulations on your pregnancy, osannie. I can’t give you any specific advice but being gluten free during pregnancy should be fine, as long as you don’t rely too much on ready-made foods. Make sure you are eating lots of different veg and good quality protein. Perhaps check with your midwife if you are worried.
