Hey so I’ve been gluten free for almost 2 weeks now. My psychiatrist told me i was experiencing serotonin sensitivity and lowered my ssri last Friday. I’ve read articles were gluten can do something with serotonin. Has anyone experienced going gluten free and being on a ssri? Were you able to come off or continue lowering the dose of your ssri?

Hi, I've been gluten free for about 18 months now and have been on a high dose of SSRI during that time with no problems. I've not heard of gluten reacting to serotonin but I will certainly read up on it now you've mentioned it.
