Bone pain ?
You're not alone,I have arthritis in too many places to mention. At the moment I'm having problems with aching arms, shoulders, neck and my knees and shins feel like they're made of ice.Unpleasant somewhat.
Should i tell my doctor when i see him soon ? I feel like i annoy him with all my all over the place symptoms.. at the end he's a gastroenterologist
I would still tell him,it has been suggested that coeliac disease can be linked to arthritis.(I have both)Ask to be referred to an orthopaedic or musculoskeletal doctor,it can't harm and at least you'll maybe get to know what's wrong.Good luck.
Thank u , you too
Yes, I as well. Back pain causes me to need support which is just horrifying! And tons of arthritis. Chicken/egg -- not sure which came first as celiac is a very recent diagnosis on the heels of being at 60% hemoglobin (iron-deficiency anemia) which has gotten better with supplementation. However, the arthritis has gotten worse
Yes i suffer daily with chronic violent pains in my bones and muscles in my thighes, hips, groin and knees mainly but can be in other places,i have several dibilitateing conditions they are not sure which one causes this,i have heds, fibro, arthritis,me,lumber and cervial spondylosis, myalgia parasethia, ibs, anxiety, depression and chronic widespread pain syndrome.take care joanne x
I feel for you,I too have several of your problems. It is a bit of a pain trying to figure out which one is giving grief at times as they can overlap each other and certain symptoms can occur from different ailments.
To add to everything else just got back from hospital appointment with my surgeon been told i need two new knees, had pre op on on waiting list for the first one
Bone and joint pains can be caused by low vit d, often associated with intolerances and the U.K weather!
Oh and magnesium is good for muscle pain, either supplements, oil sprayed or skin or soak in Epsom salts.
VitD needs to be around 100. It would also be helpful to know your results with ranges for B12 - Folate and Ferritin. All need to optimal for you to feel well. If Ferritin is LOW in range then a full Iron Profile is needed. Low Iron = Low oxygen = problems with oxygen around the body.
Low Thyroid can also be the cause of all over body pain - I am wondering if you have been tested ?
I haven't been tested for everything but they found out i have anemia when i got diagnosed and I'll ask my doctor to test me for the rest
How are you treating the anaemia ?
They still didn't give me any supplements which is crazy ! But i'm seeing my doctor soon and I'll fix that
