I bloat every time I eat this. Can anyone see a bad ingredient in it? Thank you

Ingredients

I avoid anything with additives .... I am no expert but I go for all things natural.
Palm oil might be the culprit, it is a cheap oil. It usually gives me diarrhea.
Linseed oil is used to mix oil paints. I wouldn't purchase that if it were on a label I was reading in the store.
Flavorings ? What are those? Could be MSG? I avoid anything that says "flavoring".
The hydrogenation process probably also makes them even less digestible.
Are you vegan?
Oil paints! Yes I'm vegan. It's a vegan gluten free margarine type spread called Pure.
"Linseed oil is used to mix oil paints."
Water is used for all sorts of unpleasant things but I'd still use it. That does sound a rather peculiar prejudice - or at least an odd reason for something else.
I thought that sunflower oil was a good oil. Non hydrogenated not a trans fat
It is a good oil in my book but it is only 35%. What is the other 65%?
Since the order of the ingredients on the label is supposed to be in order of content, water would be >35%.
That leave at most 30% other ingredients,
No! It's heavily processed, so is rapeseed oil and veg oil. Best oil is coconut or olive oil but olive oil has to be the good stuff usually in glass bottles.

I've tried using olive oil exclusively but was still having issues occasionally. I recently discovered that because the extra virgin is in high demand, the temptation to contaminate it with cheaper oils is very strong. I'm now using sunflower oil without further incident.
Yes I've read that some of the big supermarket brands mix their olive oil with cheaper oils. Disgraceful behaviour!
Flavouring is not expanded. Hmm. Ask them what is in Flavouring.
At the moment the only time I'm not bloated is when I eat just vegetables and fruit. I brought in the butter and bloated so there's something in it that doesn't agree with me. Stopped eating it other foods are bloating me. I can't live on fruit and vegetables
A kiniesiologist/nutritionist helped me when I was struggling. Perhaps it is worth a try.
I have agoraphobia. I can't go
Sorry to hear that cherrykisses life must be very hard for you.
I see a nutritionist but it's all done on the phone.
Hi cocoa, I also have seen a lady who practices this. How many times did you see her and did she do the muscle testing? I struggle to know what to believe. I have Crohn's and she told me I was non celiac gluten sensitive.i have been going gluten free since. I've lost weight again and people keep saying I'm. It eating enough or properly. I'm fed up with it all to be honest.
I saw her several times and she did the muscle testing. I put my trust in her because I was feeling so much better with her help. I was getting no help with my GP and felt I had to do something myself.
She advised on what to eat/not eat and also slowly introduced supplements.
I get fed up with other people telling me what I should and should not do, especially at Christmas time when everything focusses around food. Funnily enough, I haven't lost weight despite cutting out all the fattening foods.
I am so much better than when I first saw her and now only see her occasionally.
Yes I do understand what your saying. I feel like the medical world just don't buy into it.its the money side too of course. The lady I saw lives a two and a half hour drive away from me so I think I need to try someone closer. She was recommendedto me and I couldn't fault her. Thanks for your reply .
I've been on a very restricted diet - (meat, veg and small amount of fruit) to stop the bloating and diarrhoea and have been seeing a functional nutritionalist who recommended I use coconut oil and ghee - it has certainly helped me
You don't eat much
No - but it has been well worth it to stop the symptoms I was experiencing. I spent 3 weeks on the elemental liquid diet (self-funded) before going onto the Lofflex diet, I am slowly re-introducing more foods now. I had previously been diagnosed with a bacterial infection in the small intestine and spent years on cyclical anti-biotics, and am now trying to heal the damage they caused. I can tolerate a limited diet to get the benefits.
What I don't understand about reintroducing food with gluten is will foods that are not be ok for me to eat now be ok in the future once my stomach as healed or will they always be a problem
Please don't think that I am re-introducing gluten, sugar, dairy or soya - I know these things will definitely cause me problems. I am re-introducing more fruit, vegetables, eggs and tumeric/orange tea. I know my stomach will not be able to take any of the above foods, I am just looking for a little variety - just with fruit and veg.
Coconut oil, butter or ghee, avocado, olive oil would all be better choices. Read Nina Teicholz' book "the big fat surprise". Natural fats rather than industrially processed seed oils are much healthier.
It could be the palm upsetting you. It comes from coconut which is a high fodmap. Are you ok with onions, garlic, cauliflower, apples? They are high fodmaps too.
Can you have Vitalite spread? It's dairy free

Palm oil comes from the pulp of the fruit of the oil palms. Coconut is from the coconut palm. The oil palm fruit is a smaller reddish orange colour.
