Brinzalomide

I have been using these drops for 5 days and all was well. Yesterday, i felt a bit of chest congestion and today it's worse. I have also felt lightheaded today.

I don't know if this is due to the drops or just coincidence and it may just be a bit of a cold.

Has anyone any idea how long it would take for adverse side effects to show up? Has anyone experienced this with Brinzalomide?

Hi, I had to be taken off Brinzalomide as I had an allergic response. Not breathing problems. mine were red, gritty, watering eyes that were so uncomfortable. I looked like a vampire.

They tried to tell me at first that it was my make-up, but I had never had issues before with any makeup. I had to insist that on the leaflet inside the drops it said to contact your doctor straight away if any signs of what I had. They did change them to Dorzalomide and it cleared up for a while, until it happened again. so have now got more new drops and have to hope I am not allergic to these too. Time will tell.

Have been on Brinzolamide for around 4 years now. Since starting and all this time have had bad chesty cough. No-one will listen that I think it's the drops. Last year had chest scan and x-ray followed by antibiotics to clear lungs. Got slightly better. Still coughing though.

I was interested in your reply, thank you.I really do think it might be the drops. My chest is worse today. I'll persevere for now and see if it improves when my body gets used to the drops.

I'm not due to see the consultant again for 2 months though. (That's if I'm lucky !). There is a backlog at my hospital. I'll ring his secretary if I don't get my appointment on time

I am still feeling chesty congestion and dizziness after 2 weeks on Brinzolomide. How long was it before your chest cleared?I am wondering if I need to contact the hospital clinic for advice? I have already refused beta blockers and don't want to be seen as an awkward patient.

I would think you would be wise to contact the eye clinic. I have a friend who recently had to change from brinzolomide for the same reason. I did not experience dizzyness but I did have congestion and I still get a cough
