Post laser iridotomy post 😅.

The laser went fine, it really was not at all as bad as I had anticipated , dr google really isn’t my friend! It was literally over in seconds

I’m currently on steroid drops 3 times a day, and my pressure was 13 in one eye 15 in the other after laser, I will admit I do feel a little traumatised by the whole experience emotionally, although physically I have been very lucky.

Now got to wait 8 weeks for post laser check to see what’s what, although I’m not sure on what the outcome will be as I have plataue iris configuration

thanks to everyone who is always so kind and takes the time to reply to posts

I knew it would happen quickly and not as difficult at all as any other treatment but then again maybe not for everyone so thankfully that’s behind you now! Hope it helps.

It was done so fast I was like, is that it ? I’m still feeling, did I really have that done it was so quick! It is behind me now, and on to the next! I can’t wait to have my follow up appointment to see what’s what.

Yay that's good to hear.

I always feel a bit exhilarated after procedures.

Hope all turns out well.

Really, funny how it affects us afterwards isn’t it! Maybe it’s the adrenaline?I literally just trotted out the room like nothing my husband was gobsmacked because I have the worst anxiety ever! My brains SO ridiculous sometimes it needs an asbo 🤣🤣

After my first eye op - cataract almost 20 years ago - I remember babbling away to the nurse who'd wheeled me back into the waiting area like I was on speed! 😀
