I was told that the implant isn’t working as well as it should due to scarring and need a revision. Is the recovery the same as for the original operation?

Anyone had a revision of Preserflo implant?
I had a revision and it took about 6 weeks for my eyesight to return to normal. Recovery from the surgery was only about 2 weeks but that depends on your current state of health (I’m quite fit ). Unfortunately the correction was unsuccessful and I finally had the preserflo implant removed and have reverted to using eye drops. It seems that my eye (cornea?) was too thin to tolerate the implant.
I had a revision as the implant wasn't working. I had a cataract removed at the same time. I can't remember exactly how long to return to normal, about a month I think. The revision worked (it was the second attempt). Although I have periodic soreness at the inner part of my eye.
I have just had what they called bleb review on 2nd September as my implant was not working due to blockage of scar tissue. It is now working well so far, pressure gone down to 10 from 29 ( at one stage it went upto 40 after presserflo). It probably took about 4 weeks to recover. I am still on steroid drops though. I also have bad cataract in the same eye but my consultant says the eye is still not recovered fully from bleb review, so am not sure how long will I have to wait for my cataract surgery. I did request to do cataract surgery same time as implant/ bleb review but my request was declined. I wish you the best and quick recovery.
