still on drops after laser treatment

Narrow angle glaucoma. Six months after laser treatment, and I am still prescribed Monopost drops for both eyes every evening. I thought laser treatment was instead of drops.

Hi

Depends if it's worked or how well. I had laser but uveitis caused issues. Trab surgery ultimately failed as well.

So eventually had a shunt put in but still have to put in 2 lots of drops for the pressures to remain stable.

I've had both the laser treatment and the cataract surgery to put in thinner lenses to reduce the pressure in both my eyes. But I still have to take eye drops every day to reduce my pressures further. I don't think surgery is a replacement for eye drops.

Hope this helps.
