I had my driving license revoked in Feb this year due to Glaucoma and failing the fields test, I’ve had 3 independent tests at 3 different opticians and failed all tests. As my wife has to drive me everywhere do I or she have any possibility of claiming assistance from social services

Not sure about this. I think you can only claim allowance for disability if you are registered sight impaired. It’s probably worth asking at your eye clinic whether you should register. You do qualify for a free bus pass if DVLA withdraw your driving licence but I guess you already have this as you are over 66.
