Hi everyone I had a Dmek procedure last Thursday at Moorfields @St .Georges and nearly one week later my vision is still very very hazy and the air bubble they put in is still there , I'm just asking if anyone has had this op and how long before some sort of sight was restored

Hello. Visual recovery normally takes 1-4 weeks. Your vision is poor in the first few days due to the air bubble. but it begins to improve once the bubble is above the level of the pupil. Good vision can be expected a month after surgery. You can normally visit for optician to check for a new prescription 6 weeks after surgery.
If you any concerns, even little ones, please get back to your consultant and make them aware.
For forum members that do not know what DMEK is, it is called descemet membrane endothelial keratoplasty which is a method or corneal transplant.
