Glaucoma dvla test

Hi, just have been getting treatment for pigment dispersion glaucoma for 6 year. I've had full field of vision. I've had one lot of bilateral selective laser surgery back in 2017.I've recently had a new doctor and he has decided it's time to inform the dvla although my tests have been fine. I'm getting another bilateral laser op. However, I have informed dvla.

Having a disabled daughter, I need to drive her to her school collection and various hospital appointments. I've terrified my World is about to get blown apart.

I think being a spectacle wearer will be an issue. However, some of the testing I feel is unfair as all wearers of glasses can suffer visual field issues due to frames and lenses???

I'm not overly confident in specsacers either as I've had several prescription issues. Any advice???

Take a pair of noise cancelling headphones to the dvla test as Specsavers do these tests in noisy places in my experience.

you can ask them to do the dvla check with or without glasses as you are looking a the dot on screen with both eyes quite close. Three attempts are allowed tgey send best off.
