Twitchy eye and eye ache

Hello again,

I have noticed over the last few days my right eye is twitchy almost twitching to a pulse like rhythm, in addition in the same eye I have a bit of a dull ache which comes and goes and sometimes lingers a bit longer, is this normal?

I am currently on lots of eye drops and Acetazolamide tablets to keep my pressure down, it was checked last week and it was down to 14 in each eye. I am now worried it’s too low….

I have obviously now become concerned about everything to do with my eyes….

Any advice would be great, thank you in advance.

hi kbiow

I’ve had that too my specialist says it’s just nerves twitching nothing to worry over .

14 is a good pressure I’ve been as low as 8 . Do u have a specialist or optometrist u can go see if u get worried ,?

Hi, I too was in your boat when I was pre opp, every drop under the sun and those horrible tablets, which caused me to have a twitching eye as well, I think it's just medication overload, but obviously necessary 4 u. 14 though is not too low don't worry about that, that's the kind of pressure you should be on Acetazolamide. For too low to cause issues you need to be at least below 6, which I currently am at 6, when you get below this it feels like your eye is defeated and vision is very blurry (I spent about 6 weeks at Zero)

I would add though when was the last time you went, because they are also symptoms of high pressure?
