I've had an injection for all my previous ops - including my first cataract op years ago. This time, just drops and I was more aware of pressure on my eye and searing lights during the surgery. The blur and grittiness cleared by the next day but, a week on, it still feels very sensitive to light, especially first thing. And it's been kind of pulsating at times, today. Don't remember my other eye feeling like this.
Planning to get back to work (I'm a dog walker) by next Thurs, which will have been the 2 weeks off that was recommended, so hoping it'll feel better by then.

Hello, for me after the cataract operation the vision is really bright white clear so it is light sensitive . I was asked to wear the UV protection sunglasses. In your case you will be outdoor for sometimes everyday so it will be beneficial to wear sunglasses. You can discuss with your optician / optometrist for advice.
Hi I have good sunglasses but even inside my eye still feels very bruised and sensitive. I've only been outside once, for a short time, since the op. I might call the hospital next week. Just don't remember it feeling like this last time.
